Sorry Siracusa is a collection of short stories by Annabelle Hirsch, Adriano Sack, Dana von Suffrin, Giuliano Bonelli, Giovanni Fiderio, Lucia Moschella, Lukas Kubina, and Mario Fillioley. All set in the Sicilian city of Syracuse, this omnibus volume gets you a Coco Chanel, shuttles you to the coast, takes you on workation, makes you suck for the religious paranormal, portrays the local life and fillets tourist fantasies - and performs as your different kind of guide book. The eight short stories are printed in their original version (German or Italian) as well as in English (translated by Caroline Schmidt, Jamie Small and Shane Anderson). Last but not least, Sorry Siracusa introduces our nomadic writers residency. Each stop produces a collection of short stories by local and visiting authors; together they provide a polyphonic view on the destination through the eyes of literature. Over the course of time, the nomadic writers residency is building a library of fiction travel guides.
